Navajo Swastika Tobacco Felt Rug Set  These are 2 same designs in different colors.  Measure 5 1/4" X 3 1/2" and were made in 3rd District Of N.Y.  We also offer a rug pair (both same)  Tobacco felts, also known as tobacco rugs, were small pieces of fabric given away by tobacco companies as incentive for buying their product.  These small pieces of fabric were often used for quilts and pillows.  Felts were replaced by coupons around 1916.
