“Hey everybody Grump here with your item of the day and today we have a piece of early Automotive History. This is a Detroit Signal Number 123 from Detroit Products right here in El Segundo California. This was made in the late 1930s into the early 40s and this was an early turn signal before turn signals became a thing on the column of cars. This was cable driven so it would have been mounted to the door and the cable run into the cab so when they wanted to signal they were turning they would pull and lift it up and when they were done turning they would lower it back down. Really cool piece that would look good on any cab over or any old truck in general. This can be found in the Auto section of the grumpsgarage.com Catalog or it can be found here at the counter. As always I thank you for your time and your support you guys have a great day.“
