Align-Rite Tank Ball, New Old Stock

Align-Rite Tank Ball New Old Stock  Very neat, original price on metal lid.  Cardboard body.  1950s-1960s.  It is a toilet tank ball, used in older toilet models as a flush valve mechanism.  It's designed to create a seal in the toilet tank to hold water until flushed, and then lift to allow water to flow into the bowl.  The can indicates it was made by "K" and has locations listed as "Downey, Calif." and "Chicago, Ill.".
