Emerson Model 587A Bakelite Radio

Emerson Model 587A Bakelite Radio  This radio was manufactured starting in 1949.  Known for its Ivory color Bakelite, this one lights up and after warming up works beautifully.  Body has no chips or cracks of any kind.  Tabletop tube radio, known for its compact size and good reception.  Features a broadcast band (AM) and utilizes five vacuum tubes for operation. It's notable for its internal loop antenna, which contributes to its reception quality.
