Early 1900s Emergency Vehicle Spot Lamp

“Hey everybody Grump here with your item of the day. Today we have an early 1900s spot lamp and this one was made by the FW Wakefield Brass Company in Ohio. They applied for a patent for this one particularly to be called the Red Spot.  It’s really cool in great shape has an adjustable rear view mirror on the backside and what makes this probably a police fire or at least safety vehicles lamp is that if you press the slide in on the rear it sends a red plastic sheath around the bulb thus turning thelight red. Really cool piece of American Automotive and Lighting history that can be found in the used sections of any of our catalogs.
